Katherine Megrue-Smith graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1988. She worked professionally in Manhattan as a graphic designer for Conde Nast Magazines, and for Richard Danne (of Danne & Blackburn). Her paintings have been exhibited in multiple solo shows and group exhibitions in New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas and Toronto. She was the recipient of the Women’s Caucus Most Promising Artist award. Her work was recently included in the juried show Ode To Color at The Carriage Barn Art Center in New Canaan, CT.
